This is an old skirt from F21 that I haven’t worn in a couple years. I love that it’s really colorful and lightweight. I decided to pair this vest from, F21 with the skirt to bring some edge to the outfit. This is also the reason I choose the chain necklace, from Glamhairus (pick one up for yourself: http://www.glamhairus.com/chicago/the-shop). The mustard tank and sparkly yellow belt really help to bring the entire look together. To finish it off, I added these strappy nude shoes from Discovery, to help make the outfit more summery.
I also got a keratin treatment a couple weeks ago and it made styling my hair in the summer heat quick and easy. Make your appointment today!

This outfit was inspired by a woman I saw walking down the street. I loved her outfit and realized that I had something similar in my closet. I would call this Boho-Grunge. I feel like I’m Daisy Duke in these cutoff jeans, from Discovery. The ripped, high waisted jeans look great with a pair of wedges. The top and tank are old pieces from F21. The necklace and purse are both pieces from my collection (Buy them here: http://www.glamhairus.com/chicago/the-shop). I feel they both bring a bit of edge and femininity to the outfit.

Last week I showed you how I do my eye makeup, step-by-step. This week I’m going to show you my favorite part, how I put on my eye lashes. It’s amazing what a difference a set of lashes can make to your final makeup look. More recently I started stacking my lashes. Yes, you read that right, I stack on layers of lashes. I find this helps to give a more dramatic, filled in look.
Below are three different pairs of lashes. The top pair are from the drug store and the bottom 2 are Lilly Lashes. As you can see each are very different from one another, which I feel helps to give a better look. Don’t be afraid to mix and match, there’s no wrong way to go about this. In addition to the lashes, you’ll also need lash glue, which can also be purchased at the drugstore.
If you’ve never put on lashes before, check out my youtube videos on how to apply them (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c0dqAiiX-Gs or https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3GWOXQxmBQw). Remember with practice makes perfect, so if you don’t get it right the first time, try again!
When I layer my lashes I start by applying the first strip to my eye. I let it dry a bit before looking at the placement of the 2nd lash. Your lashes don’t have to layer perfectly on top of one another, so sometimes they are a bit staggered. The important thing is to try to lay the strips as close to the lash line as possible. After the 2nd lash has dried, I then look at the placement of the 3rd. Don’t be afraid to cut your lashes. Sometimes you only need to put half a lash on the outside corner of the eye. You can also put individuals in between you layers to fill in any gaps. Once you get your lashes where you’d like them, mirror that look on the opposite eye.
The best part about layering your lashes… You can reuse them! Just peel off the glue between uses.

This dress, from Charlotte Russe, is so versatile. It can be worn with a fedora and flip flops or out for a night on the town with heels. The cut out on the back makes a plain dress interesting and sexy. I love a little pop of color in an outfit, which is why I chose these blue shoes from Charlotte Russe. The necklace is a piece from my collection (http://www.glamhairus.com/chicago/the-shop), which I thought helped to tie the look together. The purse is an oldie, but a goodie from F21.
